Did not register a reception.  at Miami (10/21):  Played in a reserve role at tight end and on special teams protection units in the Patriots' 49-28 rout of the Dolphins... Threw a key block to spring Willie Andrews on a 77-yard dash for the end zone on a kickoff return three seconds in the second quarter and gave the Patriots a 21-7 lead... Set the Giants' single-season franchise record with 25 special teams tackles (22 solo) ... Caught a game-winning, 17-yard touchdown pass at Dallas on Oct. 6 - his first reception of the season ... Recorded a blocked punt against Indianapolis (12/22), swatting down a Hunter Smith punt and setting up a Giants field goal on the ensuing drive ... Recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half against Houston (11/24), setting up a Giants field goal ... Caught a two-point conversion pass from Kerry Collins in the fourth quarter at Minnesota (11/10).
