2003 Season

2003: Saw action in 14 games predominately on special teams. Also saw time at fullback and limited action at running back. Was inactive (stinger) versus Pittsburgh (11/2) and did not play the following week at Washington (11/9). Totaled 24 yards on seven carries and 34 yards on two receptions.



2002 Season

2002: Started one game at fullback (at Arizona 11/10), first of career, and saw action in all 16 games and 13 in the backfield. A fullback, Evans also saw limited action at running back. Had 17 carries for 53 yards and eight receptions for 41 on the season. A regular on most special teams units, he totaled one tackle and returned six kickoffs for 84 yards (14.0 avg.).



2001 Season

2001: Played in all 16 games, predominately on special teams totaling five tackles. Saw action at fullback in three games versus San Diego (12/2), Dallas (12/16) and Kansas City (1/6/02) and had two rushes for 11 yards. Returned three kickoffs for 40 yards. Had a 49-yard kickoff return at Buffalo (11/18) called back due to a holding call.



College

Was a three-year letterman at Auburn (1998-2000), playing in 28 games and starting 16 ... Was used as a lead blocker and rushed for 629 yards and six touchdowns on 149 carries ... Caught 30 passes for 354 yards and a touchdown ... As a senior, opened holes for running back Rudi Johnson, who is now with the Cincinnati Bengals ... Led team in rushing as a sophomore with 330 yards on 93 attempts, scoring two touchdowns.

Bryan Heath Evans was born the son of Bryan and Candy Evans on December 30, 1978 in West Palm Beach, Fla. ... Was a two-time all-state pick as a tailback at The King's Academy in West Palm Beach, where he also lettered in basketball ... Led the state of Florida in scoring as a senior, totaling 32 touchdowns (27 rushing, 5 receiving) ... Also played linebacker in high school ... Majored in communications at Auburn ... Heath and his wife Bethann have two daughters, Ava and Naomi.
