at N.Y. Jets (9/9):  Made his first NFL appearance during the Patriots' 38-14 win over the Jets... Collected three tackles (solo) in 38-14 road victory over Jets... Bottled up Jets running back Thomas Jones for 1 yard for his first NFL tackle. As a senior in 2004, earned a starting role in spring practice and started the season's first six games before suffering a knee injury... Returned for the final two games... Tallied nine tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback pressures, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup... Selected to play in the East-West Shrine game... In 2003, played in 10 games, recording 22 tackles (8 solo), five quarterback hurries, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one recovered fumble...Made three tackles, forced a fumble and broke up a pass against Florida State...Was awarded a medical redshirt for the 2002 season after suffering a season-ending should injury in the game at Florida... As a sophomore, played extensively at defensive tackle, seeing action in 11 games and collecting 26 tackles...Twice garnered a season-high four tackles against West Virginia and Temple...
