Matt participated in an internship with Esquire Magazine in New York City in the 2004 offseason. He plans to pursue a writing career and attend law school following his pro football career.
Matt attended the Salvation Army Holiday Party at Gillette Stadium in 2003, visiting with nearly 500 underprivileged youths and brightening their holiday season.
